Florida State Vs. Virginia Tech Live

Wake Forest vs. Virginia Tech: Zach LeDay scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, leading Virginia Tech to a 99-90 win over the Demon Deacons in the 2nd round of the 2017 ACC Tournament. Senior guard Seth Allen scored 18 points, while Wake Forest got 21 points from guard Bryant Crawford. The 7th-seeded Hokies advance to the quarterfinals and will face No. 2 seed Florida State.

Florida State’s hope is that there will be an advantage since Virginia Tech is playing on back-to-back days, and that they’re a team which relies on a 7-man rotation. But the Hokies are a small team – they don’t have any bigs to wear down, so fatigue probably won’t be much of an issue. VT has played the last seven games with just seven guys, so they’re used to playing major minutes.

Virginia Tech earned another game in Brooklyn last night, this time playing against Florida State in the ACC Quarterfinals tonight at 7PM on ESPN. Florida State won the first matchup between these two teams but it was a hobbled Virginia Tech team without Seth Allen. Now the Hokies are hobbled again with Justin Robinson questionable for the game tonight. Do they have enough in the tank to knock off the #16 team in the country?
