Wisconsin owns the rivalry with Purdue as of late, winning the last 10 meetings in a row by an average of 23 points per game and going 9-1 against the spread. The Badgers are expected to run that streak to 11 when they bump up against the Boilermakers in West Lafayette, Indiana, on Saturday afternoon. in their quest to reach December’s Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis, the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers will travel down to West Lafayette to face the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday.

Wisconsin (8-2, 5-2) is riding high off of its four-game winning streak, while Purdue (3-7, 1-6) is slumping without a permanent head coach into its final two games of the regular season. Despite the apparent one-sided game many predict, the Boilermakers do have a potent offense through their passing game that’s among the top 20 in the nation.

Purdue started the season 3-2, with wins over Eastern Kentucky, Nevada, and Illinois. The bad news for the Boilermakers? They have lost five straight games, all by at least 13 points. Purdue is in last place in the Big Ten West, and it likely won’t move up in the conference standings with games against Wisconsin and Indiana looming.

Wisconsin is in line to win the Big Ten West and have a chance to knock off either Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State for a spot in the College Football Playoff. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The Badgers need to win their final two games against Purdue and Minnesota. After starting the season with four straight wins, Wisconsin dropped a pair of seven-point losses to Michigan and Ohio State in the middle of the season. The Badgers have bounced back and enter this contest on a four-game win streak.
