World Baseball Classic schedule: How to watch, live stream USA vs. Japan WBC semifinal, USA’s Roark eyes redemption vs Japan in WBC semis, World Baseball Classic semifinal 2017 Live Stream On at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
The 2017 World Baseball Classic schedule is winding down, but the action is ramping up. Initially panned by many MLB fans, the WBC has offered compelling action and plenty of highlights, not the least of which was Adam Jones’ HR-robbing catch for the ages that helped catapult Team USA into Tuesday’s semifinal game against Japan
The United States will play its first World Baseball Classic semifinal game in eight years on Tuesday night, battling regular tournament power Japan at Dodger Stadium. Tuesday’s semifinal will be televised by MLB Network at 9 p.m. ET, with Matt Vasgersian calling the play-by-play alongside analyst John Smoltz, with reporter Jon Morosi delivering the goods from both dugouts. Online streaming is available through MLB Network, with adequate television provider authentication.
This is the second time in four WBC tournaments that the United States has reached the final four. The last time was in 2009, when Team USA lost to eventual tournament champion Japan. Roark came on in relief during a 7-5 loss to the Dominican Republic in the first round on March 11 in Miami. The right-hander allowed a solo homer to Manny Machado that launched the Dominicans’ comeback, along with a two-run single by Carlos Santana.
